Resilient Flood Solutions is a consulting engineering firm that works with communities to develop and implement comprehensive programs to reduce flood risk and solve water resource engineering problems. We provide expert-level capacity to communities to help them solve complicated flooding and other water resource problems that may otherwise seem insurmountable.

In general, my services include the following general categories.

Working with communities and stakeholders to develop a general framework on how to solve a flooding or other water resource problem.  Thios could include outlining a general technical approach, steps required to complete implementation and outline funding opportunities for each step.

Supporting project owners to guide them through the development of a project through implementation.  This could include how to phase and fund a project, securing political and regulatory approvals, engaging stakeholders and the public, and procurement strategies, and other steps required to fully implement a project.

Working with project owner to define a strategy to maximize state and federal grant opportunities to fund a project as well as creatively developing required match.

Preparing grant applications includes developing project or phase project vision that matches grant opportunities and developing an application that best highlights the elements of a project that will be most attractive to a funding sources.  

Supporting a community to help them manage grant/funding requirements as well as consultants and contractors that are hired to implement the project.
